Overview

Why this car matters

Hand-built English supercar produced by Noble Automotive in Leicestershire from 2010 to 2018; stainless steel and carbon-fibre construction; offered as the Carbon Sport coupé and, later, the Speedster targa.

Longitudinal rear-mid-mounted 4.4-litre Yamaha-built Volvo B8444S 60° V8, converted by Motorkraft in the US with twin Garrett turbochargers and variable boost: a dashboard switch selects 450 hp (Road, 0.6 bar), 550 hp (Track, 0.8 bar) or 650 hp (Race, 1.0 bar), with 604 lb-ft maximum; 9.5:1 compression; 7,000 rpm redline; Graziano six-speed manual transaxle; 1,250 kg kerb weight.

Driver aids were optional — buyers could specify the car without traction control, underlining its analogue positioning. Noble has never published a production total; the M600 was a very small hand-built run.

One of the last pure analogue supercars, in tiny numbers, with values firming as the type disappears.

Buyer's Guide

What to look for

Chassis and engine authentication

Authenticate stamped chassis and engine numbers against factory or club records. For the M600 specifically, verify body specification (Carbon Sport coupé or Speedster targa), confirm the Yamaha-built Volvo B8444S V8 and Graziano six-speed transaxle, and note driver-aid specification as it was optional.

Body and originality

Confirm body originality, panel identity and restoration standard against a marque specialist.

Mechanical inspection and service history

Confirm continuous service history and any rebuild history for the engine, transmission and driveline against a marque specialist.

Provenance and ownership history

Restoration standard, originality of body and driveline, and any documented ownership record are the main value drivers.
