Pierce-Arrow

Pierce-Arrow of Buffalo was one of America's 'Three Ps' of pre-war prestige alongside Packard and Peerless, supplier to the White House and inventor of the marque's unmistakable signature: headlamps faired into the front wings, patented in 1913. Its V12s of the 1930s were magnificent — Ab Jenkins drove one to 24-hour speed records at Bonneville — and the radical Silver Arrow show car of 1933 remains an Art Deco landmark. The Depression killed the company by 1938, but Pierce-Arrows are enduring CCCA Full Classics, their craftsmanship a byword among pre-war collectors.
