TVR built Britain's wildest sports cars from Blackpool: glassfibre bodies, monstrous power-to-weight, no driver aids and no apologies. The Rover V8-engined Griffith and Chimaera of the 1990s defined the marque's blend of muscle and affordability, while the Speed Six era — Tuscan, Sagaris, T350 — added the company's own engines and styling from another planet. Production ceased in 2006 amid ownership turmoil, and periodic revival attempts have kept the faithful hoping ever since. Values have climbed steadily as the cars' analogue extremity becomes irreplaceable — the Sagaris especially has crossed into serious collectable territory.
