Mitsubishi
1 guide · 2005–2007
Mitsubishi's collector legacy was forged on rally stages: the Lancer Evolution's ten generations of turbocharged, four-wheel-drive aggression delivered four consecutive WRC drivers' titles for Tommi Mäkinen in the late 1990s and created one of the definitive Japanese performance bloodlines, forever paired with its Subaru nemesis. The earlier Galant VR-4 and the 3000GT's technology showcase have their own followings, but it is the Evos — particularly the Mäkinen-edition VI and the final IX — that lead the market, riding the JDM collector wave as clean, unmodified cars grow ever scarcer.
