Alfa Romeo

15 guides · 1929–2023

Founded in Milan in 1910, Alfa Romeo spent the pre-war decades as the sport's dominant force — its 8C road and racing cars remain among the most valuable automobiles in existence, and Enzo Ferrari learned his trade running its works team. It won the first two Formula 1 World Championships in 1950 and 1951, then democratised the sporting saloon with the Giulietta and Giulia. Under Stellantis today, the marque balances mainstream models with statements of intent like the 33 Stradale, a 33-off supercar invoking its 1967 namesake — while for collectors, the pre-war 8Cs, the 1950s–70s Giulia-era coupés and Spiders, and the modern Quadrifoglio saloons each hold distinct and active markets.
