Launched in 2016, the Giulia Quadrifoglio is the highest-performance variant of the 952-series Giulia. It uses a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 (codename 690T) developed at Ferrari's Maranello facility, producing 510 PS (503 bhp) and driving the rear wheels through an 8-speed ZF automatic. UK and European cars were initially offered with carbon-fibre roof and seats; later GTA and GTAm derivatives further raised the bar.
The Quadrifoglio is widely regarded as one of the finest super-saloons of the 2010s and the spiritual successor to the 156 GTA and 75 Turbo Evoluzione.

Start with identity, paperwork and originality. For the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, the strongest cars have continuous ownership history, matching numbers where applicable, original books and tools, factory build documentation and evidence of work by manufacturer-approved specialists. Manual / GTA / GTAm provenance, optional carbon-roof and Sparco seats, single-owner European cars with full Alfa Romeo service.
690T twin-turbo V6 is robust when serviced; oil-pump and intake-valve service history are recurring focus points on early cars. A proper pre-purchase inspection includes cold-start behaviour, ECU diagnostics and fault-code history (where applicable), leak-down or compression testing, underbody photography, suspension and chassis inspection, brake condition and a long enough road test to expose heat-related faults. Deferred maintenance on a car of this class is almost always more expensive than buying a better-sorted example.
Use a paint-depth gauge, lift access and a specialist familiar with the model's factory panel gaps and finish standards. Collector value is dramatically affected by structural repairs, refinished panels, poor paintwork and missing factory trim or option content. Documented cosmetic refresh is acceptable; concealed accident or fire damage must be priced severely.
Early cars (pre-MY20 facelift) in well-specified European delivery, with documented service and originality, are the medium-term collector cars to watch. Specification, colour, options and limited-build variants move values significantly. Buy the best-documented example in the most desirable specification you can justify, rather than a tired example of a rarer derivative that will need years of corrective work.

Budget annually even if the car is used sparingly. Fluids age, tyres and date-coded rubber components must be replaced regardless of mileage, and stored cars need exercise. A documented maintenance rhythm protects both reliability and resale value.
Alfa Romeo dealer and specialist network supports the model; parts supply is broadly good but trim-specific items can be slow. Before purchase, confirm parts availability for model-specific bodywork, electronics, gearbox and engine components. A discounted car waiting on unobtainable parts or a factory service slot is rarely a saving in collector ownership.
