The only company in the world dedicated exclusively to the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL — restoration, maintenance, trade and preservation of both the Gullwing coupé and the roadster. Founder Hans Kleissl is regarded internationally as the marque's definitive 300 SL figure, and the workshops occupy the Polling Monastery complex, a listed group of buildings founded in the eighth century that Kleissl restored himself. Everything is under one roof: detailed sheet metal work using original tools, high-precision engine building, a traditional saddlery, an in-house paint shop and full fuel injection overhaul. A racing department has run since 1995, and the celebrated Cuban Gullwing — dismantled in Havana, shipped out box by box and rebuilt at Polling — ran the 2019 Mille Miglia.
