McGrath Maserati

Classic Maserati specialist

The UK's pre-eminent classic Maserati specialist. Bill McGrath founded the business in 1977; Andy Heywood joined in 1988 and has led it since McGrath's retirement. Around a dozen technicians work across more than 13,000 sq ft taking in a restoration department, fully equipped workshops for classic and modern cars, engine and transmission rooms, storage, a showroom and a parts operation credibly described as one of the largest Maserati inventories in the world — remanufacturing everything from Merak SS exhaust valves to cylinder liners, forged pistons and splined hubs. Restoration credentials include a 1971 Ghibli for the Sultan of Brunei and a Ghibli SS that won concours events for fifteen years.
