The Kimera K39 is Kimera Automobili's first ground-up car — a departure from the Lancia-based Evo37 and Evo38 restomods. Where those two cars were built on a rebuilt Lancia Beta Montecarlo cell, the K39 is a clean-sheet supercar with a bespoke carbon monocoque, Dallara-assisted aerodynamics and pop-up headlights.
At the heart of the car sits a Koenigsegg twin-turbo V8 — the first engine Koenigsegg has supplied to a third party — producing approximately 1,000 hp and paired with a seven-speed manual driving the rear wheels. Pricing is quoted at approximately €2.3M. The K39 debuted at Villa d'Este in May 2026 with a category win; no customer deliveries have been made and no secondary market exists.
The K39 marks a significant escalation for Kimera — from Lancia-tribute restomods into a clean-sheet supercar that leans on Koenigsegg engineering. It also marks a genuinely new commercial relationship for Koenigsegg, whose engines have never before appeared in another manufacturer's car. Small volume, Villa d'Este debut and manual-gearbox specification position the K39 as a distinct proposition alongside the Evo37 / Evo38.
