Why this car matters

The Huayra BC (2016) is the track-focused evolution of the standard Huayra, named after Benny Caiola — Pagani's first customer. It uses a 6.0-litre twin-turbo Mercedes-AMG M158 V12 driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed Xtrac single-clutch automated manual gearbox in a carbon-triax composite monocoque, at a dry weight of 1,218 kg.

Pagani's headline output figure for the BC is 764 PS / 754 hp with 1,100 Nm. The Huayra Roadster BC (2019, approximately 40 units) is a separate car and is not covered in this guide.

The Huayra BC is the direct spiritual heir to the Zonda R and Cinque within the Huayra generation — a low-volume, track-focused, factory-personalised expression of the platform. It anchors the collector end of the Huayra family and sets the reference for the later Huayra R and Utopia narratives.

What to look for

Provenance and originality

Start with identity, paperwork and originality. The strongest cars carry continuous factory or Pagani-authorised service history, all original books and tools, delivery documentation and — where relevant — build sheets confirming factory options and personalisation. For the Huayra BC, delivery-mileage single-owner cars with continuous factory documentation are the collector standard. Confirm colour, exposed-carbon specification, factory personalisation and complete Pagani-authorised service history.

Mechanical inspection priorities

Inspection should be led by a Pagani-authorised specialist. Verify AMG V12 health with compression and leak-down figures, gearbox behaviour (manual on early Zondas, automated sequential on Cinque / BC), suspension geometry, brake condition (carbon-ceramic thickness and disc integrity) and full electronics diagnostics.

Carbo-titanium / carbon-fibre integrity

Pagani's structural carbon-fibre and carbo-titanium panels are extremely expensive to correct if damaged. Confirm chassis and panel integrity via lift inspection and, where possible, factory review. Any accident history requires factory-signed repair documentation to preserve value.

Specification and personalisation

Every Pagani is heavily personalised. Colour, exposed-carbon finish, trim, wheel finish and factory options move values meaningfully — but the underlying provenance and originality of the personalisation is what protects the value long-term.
