Overview

Why this car matters

Unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the Battista is the first car from Automobili Pininfarina — named for the coachbuilder's founder — and is hand-finished at Cambiano on the Rimac Nevera's electric running gear.

A note on the marque: Automobili Pininfarina is the Munich-headquartered manufacturer, and Pininfarina SpA is the historic design house; the two share name and lineage.

The first car built and sold under the Automobili Pininfarina name, on a Rimac electric hypercar platform. Delivery specification, marque provenance and battery-health documentation are the defining factors.

Buyer's Guide

What to look for

Delivery specification and marque distinction

Confirm delivery specification, colour, interior trim and any Anniversario Furiosa aero package against Automobili Pininfarina's records. For the Battista specifically, verify the derivative (standard or Anniversario Furiosa aero package) and confirm the marque distinction between Automobili Pininfarina (manufacturer) and Pininfarina SpA (design house).

Electric drivetrain and battery health

The Battista shares its four electric motors, 1,900 hp powertrain and Rimac 120 kWh battery pack with the Rimac Nevera. Battery health, high-voltage system service and any software update record must be confirmed against factory records.

Body, aero and coachbuilt finish

The Battista is hand-finished at Cambiano. Confirm body condition and aero hardware — including any Anniversario Furiosa package — against Automobili Pininfarina's records.

Warranty and service record

Confirm continuous Automobili Pininfarina service history and warranty status against the manufacturer.

Market overview
The secondary market is still finding its level, and current evidence points downward: a car delivered new in October 2023 was offered at ~$2.8M with 193 miles in August 2025 and cut to ~$2.3M by March 2026 without selling, while another asked over $3.5M from October 2025 and remained unsold five months later — against a ~$2.2M original MSRP. Electric hypercar values remain genuinely unsettled; patience currently favours buyers.
