Start with identity, paperwork and originality. For the Koenigsegg One:1, the strongest cars have a continuous ownership file, matching numbers, original books and tools, factory build documentation and evidence of work by manufacturer-approved specialists. The twin-turbo 5.0 V8 is bespoke; only Koenigsegg factory service is credible. A proper pre-purchase inspection includes cold-start behaviour, ECU diagnostics and fault-code history, leak-down or compression testing where appropriate, underbody photography, suspension and chassis inspection, brake condition and a long enough road test to expose heat-related faults.
