Revealed at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show to mark the centenary of Ferruccio Lamborghini's birth, the Centenario is an Aventador-based limited-production hypercar with full carbon-fibre bodywork, four-wheel steering and a 6.5-litre L539 V12 uprated to 770 bhp. Production was capped at 20 coupes and 20 roadsters; the launch price was approximately €1.75 million plus taxes.
Notable engineering content included a carbon-ceramic brake system shared with the Aventador SV and four-wheel steering — the first Aventador-based car to use it. The Centenario shares its drivetrain narrative with the later Sián and Veneno.
